Mavora Cabin is a 54m2, unique, private rural escape, providing both relaxation and/or adventure!

With panoramic views from every window, look across farm animals and wild deer to the Mararoa river, Lake Manapouri and mountains of Fiordland National Park.

The living area is spacious with books and games, a well equipped kitchen and dining area. Enjoy fresh farm milk in your coffee and the continental breakfast provided.

The cabin has two bedrooms, one with a Queen bed and the second with singles. It is centrally heated, has great shower pressure, a high quality sound bar and unlimited wifi (if you need it).

Getting
There

Getting to Mavora Cabin is half the fun!
Guests are met by the hosts, leaving their car in a secure place before embarking on a 15-minute off-road experience through the farm to reach the accomodation.

Other options to access the cabin is to walk (about 35 minutes and 300 metres of elevation) or via helicopter transfer.

Meet Your Hosts

Robert and Anna Kempthorne operate Mavora Farms Ltd, a self-contained dairy and sheep enterprise spanning 588 hectares.

They are the second generation to live and work on the farm.

Building the cabin was a joint family project, with the purpose to provide a sanctuary for family, friends and guests to relax and re-connect with nature.
